Accessibility Statement

Summit Air, Inc., together with our website provider Daevara, is committed to making hvac.daevara-sites.com accessible to the widest possible audience, including people who use assistive technology. Accessibility is built into the platform this site runs on, and we treat it as an ongoing effort rather than a one-time task.

Conformance target

We aim to conform to WCAG 2.2 Level AA, the standard set by the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2. WCAG defines how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, motor, auditory, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. Level AA is the level referenced by most accessibility laws and policies.

What we do to support accessibility

Every page on this site is generated by a platform that applies these practices by default:

• Semantic HTML landmarks (header, navigation, main, and footer regions) and a “skip to content” link so keyboard and screen-reader users can move around quickly.
• A single, ordered heading structure on every page, and page titles that describe the page.
• Full keyboard operation, with a clearly visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• Form fields with visible, programmatic labels and clear error messages.
• Text alternatives for meaningful images, and decorative graphics hidden from assistive technology.
• Color combinations checked to meet the AA contrast minimums, and a layout that reflows and remains usable when text is enlarged or the screen is small.

These are verified automatically on every build by accessibility checks in our publishing pipeline, and reviewed with automated tools (including axe and Pa11y) and manual keyboard and screen-reader testing.

Conformance status

This site is substantially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA. “Substantially conformant” means the site conforms in most respects but some content may not yet fully meet the standard. We are not aware of any barrier that prevents visitors from reaching us or requesting service, and we address issues as we find them.
